Switch Mode Rectifiers
Switch Mode Rectifiers represent one of the most advanced
solutions in modern rectifier technology. Compared with
conventional transformer-based rectifiers, their compact
design, high operating efficiency, and low output ripple
help deliver excellent performance in electroplating processes.
Switch Mode Rectifiers use high-frequency switching and
IGBT control technology. Since they do not require a
conventional iron-core transformer, these units can be
manufactured in a compact, lightweight form.
Thanks to their advanced technology, these units can provide
up to 30% net energy savings compared with
thyristor-controlled rectifiers of equivalent current and
voltage ratings. Depending on operating conditions,
rectifier selection, and usage, even greater savings
may be possible in certain processes.
